Audacy has laid off 200 employees, with the cuts coming across the radio company, from on-air personalities to accounting and human resources.

The layoffs come after longtime CEO David Field stepped down in January and after the company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

As many as 300 Audacy employees have been part of layoffs today as the broadcaster makes its first large-scale, post-bankruptcy RIF.

According to his LinkedIn page, Morgan had been afternoon host at the classic hits-formatted station since 2022 and worked for Audacy in New York prior to that starting in 2019. He previously worked for Cumulus Media in Dallas, Audacy predecessor CBS Radio and Clear Channel Radio in New York.

Audacy, the radio broadcast and podcasting company that emerged from bankruptcy last fall, has made a large round of jobs cuts. The layoffs, which started Thursday, affect about 200 employees, according to a source familiar with the situation.
