Halle Berry entered a new chapter of her style journey upon arrival at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on Monday. The Oscar-winning actress serves on the jury, led by Juliette Binoche, for this year’s film festival.

Halle Berry revealed that she was going to wear a Gaurav Gupta dress to the Cannes Film Festival opening gala on May 13, but had to switch her dress due to the festival's rule that prohibits dresses with a long train.

Halle had a Gupta dress that she wasn't able to wear. Halle Berry is currently in France for Cannes Film Festival, and had to undergo a last minute outfit change thanks to the festival unveiling a new—and honestly pretty restrictive—set of rules.
