Torrential rain and strong wind gusts caused problems across Massachusetts on Wednesday. Drivers were dealing with flooding in the Ted Williams Tunnel Wednesday night. MassDOT said a pump failed and debris clogged the drains.

The storm caused moderate flash flooding across urban areas in Massachusetts and Rhode Island as well as minor river and stream flooding as rain at times fell at more than 1 inch per hour.
