Ontario is launching a U.S. ad campaign, touting the province as an 'ally to the North' ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s second term and under the threat of tariffs on all Canadian goods.

Taxes could be imposed on all Canadian and Mexican goods unless the countries secure their shared borders with the US.

Over the weekend, President-elect Donald Trump made new tariff threats toward a number of nations, including some adversaries. The proposals include a 25% tariff on all Candian and Mexican imports, plus a 100% tariff on imports from the Brics Economic Alliance if it undermines the strength of the US dollar.
