The Peaky Blinders ‘ creator, Steven Knight, is hopeful the upcoming film will be shown on the silver screen. Knight, who also wrote the hit Netflix show, recently told The Playlist about the highly-anticipated film that finished shooting a few months ago and it’s star-studded cast.

The original series ran on Netflix for six seasons from 2013 to 2022 and, after years of speculation, a “Peaky Blinders” film was officially announced in June 2024. Cillian Murphy will return as star and producer and Tom Harper is set to direct.

The movie may not be the end of the "Peaky Blinders" story, Knight said, teasing, "As long as there’s an appetite for it and I’ve got stories to tell, then why not?"
