Major multistate recalls of cucumbers and eggs sold at Costco have been recalled due to concerns about salmonella contamination.

“Another day, another recall ” might be an understatement as food safety concerns mount this holiday season. Costco’s Kirkland brand eggs and a large batch of cucumbers are the latest items to face recalls due to potential salmonella contamination.

SunFed whole American cucumbers were linked to a multi-state Salmonella outbreak that sickened nearly 70 people, and almost 260,000 organic eggs sold under Costco's Kirkland Signature brand were recalled for potential Salmonella contamination.
