The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40, which is just south of Kennedy Space Center's Pad 39A. After liftoff, the rocket traveled on a southeast trajectory. The first stage booster landed eight and a half minutes later on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship waiting out on the Atlantic Ocean.

A SpaceX rocket set for launch Wednesday evening from the Southern California coast will carry 20 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The four-hour launch window at Vandenberg Space Force Base northwest of Santa Barbara is scheduled to open at 4:06 p.m. An additional launch window is scheduled for Thursday.
