Sony detailed all of the goodies included in its God of War 20th anniversary plans in a PlayStation.Blog post. Dark Odyssey is the real headline here, as it includes a war chest of cosmetic treats for all God of War Ragnarök owners across PlayStation 5 and PC. It’ll arrive as a free update March 20.

Santa Monica Studio offers free Dark Odyssey Collection DLC for God of War Ragnarok's 20th Anniversary. Players can access dark-themed skins, armor, weapons, and shield appearances for Kratos, Atreus, and Freya. The update includes the ability to edit appearance for Kratos' arsenal, allowing customization without functionality loss.

Sony is celebrating God of War's 20th anniversary with goodies found in digital Norse mythological worlds, an LA art studio and your dusty old record player. The highlight is Kratos' positively badass Dark Odyssey skin (above).

Sony has also detailed plans for its God of War 20th anniversary celebrations, including the upcoming art exhibition, game sales, and a very long world serpent plushie.

A new God of War Ragnarok update releases next week and it includes a skin inspired by PS2 classic God of War 2.

Santa Monica Studio has shared a new set of classic skins, weapons, and items will be added to God of War Ragnarok next week to celebrate the iconic series' 20th anniversary. For PS5 and PS4, a free patch will introduce a Dark Odyssey Collection that contains a skin inspired by one from God of War 2 that you got for beating it on God Mode.

The 20th anniversary of the God of War series is upon us, and PlayStation has just announced a range of new merch and updates to celebrate – but, sadly, the announcements do not include the long-awaited remaster of the original PS2 and PS3 games.
