Apple's Liquid Glass makeover and expanded Apple Intelligence tools arrive this fall, but not every phone can make the leap.
Apple has dropped the iOS 26 developer beta 4 and it brings back the "glass" in Liquid Glass along with other major changes.
Ahead of the launch of iOS 26 this fall, Figma introduced a new Glass effect playground to give developers a leg up on Liquid Glass apps.
Apple announced in June that the release of iOS 26 would first appear as developer betas as usual, with the first public beta set for July. When it reaches general release it will be on the 2025 releases, iPhone 17 series, as well the iPhone 16 series and plenty of much earlier models.
Launch the Settings app, and tap on the Apps section at the bottom of the main screen. On the next screen, find Safari and select it. Go to the Tabs section in Safari's settings and pick the layout you want. You have three choices: Compact, Bottom and Top.
