The Lions and second-round draft pick Tate Ratledge have agreed to a rookie contract, per Jordan Schultz. The agreement ends any potential holdout situation during camp for Ratledge. Ratledge is part of a draft class in which just two second-round picks had signed as of Tuesday.

The Detroit Lions have signed second-round pick Tate Ratledge to his rookie contract. Ratledge's rookie contract is estimated to be a four-year deal worth a total of $7,652,736 according to Spotrac. He was the first of two offensive linemen the Lions drafted in 2025, with Miles Frazier being the other selection in 2025.

Tate Ratledge spent most of rookie minicamp practicing at center, but is expected to compete for a starting job at guard this fall.
