At one point during the game, Doncic was caught laughing on the camera following a botched wide-open layup attempt by Warriors veteran Draymond Green. LA Lakers fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) loved their new superstar's reaction to the play and left a plethora of comments below the original post.

Doncic has spoken a bit since the shocking Saturday night trade, but the Lakers posted a short video clip of him sharing a direct message to Lakers fans. He was still at the airport while filming the video, so he was newly in Los Angeles. He kept his message brief.

The superstar guard, formerly of the Dallas Mavericks, will be introduced as a member of the Lakers during an 11:00 a.m. (CT) news conference on Tuesday. Doncic was traded alongside Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris over the weekend to Los Angeles for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick.
