Newark Liberty International Airport suffered another brief air traffic control outage Friday morning, the FAA confirms.

For the second time in less than two weeks, a radar outage is raising safety concerns at Newark Airport. The outage lasted about 90 seconds, and problems plaguing the airport show no sign of ending anytime soon.

The air traffic control mishap early Friday morning added to disruptions in recent days that have intensified concerns about safety at one of the busiest U.S. airports.
