Raja Jackson, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s son, found himself taking over headlines in the combat sports world, and not for good reason.

Rampage Jackson apologized on social media on behalf of his son and said the incident was a miscommunication. He said his son was unexpectedly hit in the head moments before Smith's match and was told that he could get his "payback" in the ring as part of the show.

The brother of independent wrestler Stuart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, provided an update on his condition following a disturbing attack from Raja Jackson on Aug. 23.
