Indian captain Rohit Sharma will be looking to get his touch back when he plays for Mumbai for the first time in almost a decade in the Ranji Trophy when they face Jammu & Kashmir from January 23 at the MCA-BKC Ground. The team will continue to be led by the seasoned Ajinkya Rahane, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) said while announcing the squad on Monday.

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been named in Mumbai's squad for the sixth round of the Ranji trophy clash against Jammu and Kashmir. Rohit last played in the domestic red-ball tournament in 2015 when he featured for Mumbai in a clash against Uttar Pradesh.

Some of the biggest names in Indian cricket, also part of India's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squad, are set to feature in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season, starting on January 23. Participating in domestic cricket will help these star players regain form and fine-tune their skills ahead of the international tournament.
