After months of rumours and endless speculation, Samsung has finally confirmed the launch date for its next-generation Galaxy S25 smartphone, which means your Galaxy S24 is about to look massively inferior.

Samsung announced two betas of the One UI 7 last year, and the third new one with fixes is now available for beta testers.

Visually, OneUI 7 brings some fresh changes, including a redesigned lock screen, always-on display, and a new look for the status bar battery icon, all in line with the latest design trends. Samsung has also fixed some longstanding issues, such as the volume key malfunction in Routine+ mode, and resolved display issues with tools in the Edge panel.

Buyers will need to purchase the Galaxy S24 Ultra and submit a claim through the Samsung offers website within 30 days of buying the handset. The claim form will ask some basic questions about the purchase and the device's IMEI number. Once submitted and approved, Samsung will ship the Chromebook.
