The Trump administration this week published a new list of so-called sanctuary jurisdictions, and this time the inventory has far fewer names nationally and in Oregon. Both Oregon and the city of Portland appear on the new list. But gone are 18 cities and counties in Oregon that appeared on a different federal map about two months ago.

Washington state and Seattle are not changing their immigration policies despite being identified Tuesday in a Department of Justice sanctuary jurisdictions list of 35 state and local governments that have policies perceived to impede federal immigration law enforcement.
