Lancaster County is now under a tornado watch in addition to being under a flood watch Friday night. The tornado watch includes Adams, Lancaster and York counties and is in effect until midnight. This is issued when conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area, according to the National Weather Service.
