A truck driver accused of making an illegal U-turn that killed three people in Florida last week was denied bond Saturday.

ICE has put a hold on Harjinder Singh. Gov. Ron DeSantis dispatched Lt. Gov. Jay Collins to California to escort Singh onto an airplane before his court appearance.

The U.S. Marshals Service said Harjinder Singh, 28, is not a U.S. citizen and entered the country illegally from Mexico in 2018.
