Metal major Vedanta reported a 3% year-on-year growth in aluminium production to 614 kt in Q3 FY25 while the 9 -month production numbers stood at 1,819 kt, also a 3% rise over the same period a year ago.

Vedanta shares dropped nearly 3 per cent on Tuesday as the stock turned ex-dividend. This is the fourth interim dividend payout by the metals and mining major in the current financial year.
