The iPhone camera's built-in timer function allows you to set the timer for 3 or 10 seconds. When the timer goes off, it takes one photo or shoots ten quick photos in Live photo mode.

To set video recording, go to Settings and click on Camera. After this, you can choose 720p, 1080p, 4K, and up to 60fps in Record Video. For good quality, select 4K at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.
