Stocks looked set to edge higher on Wednesday, as investors waited for third-quarter earnings from chip maker Nvidia that will determine whether the artificial-intelligence trade can get going again following a recent wobble.

The Dow Jones index fell on the stock market today. Lithium stocks rose on bullish commentary. Alphabet jumped on a Warren Buffett move but Peter Thiel dumped a key AI stock.

The Nifty enters midweek trading stuck in a very narrow range. 25,750 - 25,800 zone is acting as a support for the index, while the 26,000 mark continues to remain a barrier, despite the index closing above it on Monday.

Major stock indexes ended sharply lower to begin the week, which will see AI darling Nvidia and retail giants report quarterly results, as well as the release of the September jobs report delayed because of the U.
