NOAA released its annual winter forecast outlook, which predicts cooler than average conditions in the North and warmer than average conditions in the South.
The National Weather Service said it will be windy and rainy this weekend. The Lansing area could see up to 2 inches of rain.
Monday will begin with cloudy skies, but the National Weather Service Forecast predicts it will gradually become sunny.
Showers and storms will move through the tri-state area Thursday and Thursday night before conditions dry out on Friday.
