To get started, open the Printers and Faxes control panel in Windows XP (simply called Printers in Vista). Right-click on the printer you want to share, and choose Sharing.

The easiest way to unpause your printer status is to open the Device and Printer Control Panel applet, select your Printer, click on Printer from the top, and uncheck Pause Printing.
