Seattle police responded to reports that armed, masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested three men, pulling them into an unmarked van, on Aurora Avenue in North Seattle Wednesday.

“This immigration terror is a threat to everybody’s safety, regardless of your documentation status,” said Engel, spokesperson for an emergency protest held Wednesday evening in downtown Seattle.

The White House said on Jan 8 US law enforcement was under “organised attack” as protesters clashed with officers in Minneapolis following a woman’s fatal shooting by an immigration agent.

Mr Jacob Frey, the mayor, called the government’s stance “bullshit” and called on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducting a second day of mass raids to leave Minneapolis.
