Don't look now, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are knocking on the doorstep of a playoff spot. Despite losing 5 of their last 6 games going into last Sunday, the Bucs now sit just one game back in the standings of the idle Atlanta Falcons after a 30-7 win over the New York Giants on Sunday.

The Buccaneers enter Week 13 with a 50% chance of making the playoffs, according to Next Gen Stats as of 5 p.m. ET Wednesday. Beat the Panthers, who have just a 1% chance of a playoff berth, and their chances rise to 61%.

The Bucs defeated the New York Giants in Week 11 to move to 5-6, which puts them one game back from the Atlanta Falcons at 6-5. That puts them two games back from the division itself, however, as the Falcons hold the tiebreaker on Tampa Bay after beating them twice this year.
