Daily Weather Update from FOX Weather: Tracking 2 areas of tropical trouble as potential nor'easter brews
Two areas are being monitored for the possibility of tropical development in the Atlantic this week. Meanwhile, a potential nor’easter could slam the East Coast over the weekend.
Atlantic hurricane season is June 1 to Nov. 30, 2025, with most tropical storm activity between August and October in Florida.
This weekend, the forecast could be subject to some changes as we are expecting a storm system to creep up the East Coast. Our forecast depends on how that system develops and moves at the same time we'll be watching a fading front moving in from the west.
This morning a few quickly moving showers are streaming in off the Atlantic. Some roads will be wet. Today will feature a few showers coming off the Atlantic. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s around Jacksonville. Mid to upper 80s well inland. Winds will be out of the east at 5-15 mph.
