Detectives with the Albuquerque Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting Wednesday morning in the Foothills.

Shortly before 4 a.m., the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a call of someone being shot in the area of Turquoise and Copper, near Tramway. When officers arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds who was determined to be dead at the scene, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Authorities reported a deadly shooting on Saturday night. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers were called to a fight around 8 p.m. at 611 San Mateo Boulevard SE. Callers said there was a gunshot as officers were en route.
