There has been some reported interest from the Celtics organization (among several other ball clubs) to sign recently cut Milwaukee Bucks floor general Damian Lillard. Cut from the Bucks due to his hefty contract and status as an injured player unlikely to see the court in the season to come thanks to a torn Achilles tendon,

The Celtics could not offer Damian Lillard much now in free agency but changes to the roster would change that.

Lillard, who could miss all of next season after rupturing his Achilles’ tendon during the Bucks’ first-round playoff loss to Indiana, will soon become an intriguing and likely affordable free agent.
