A throw from center field by Jamison Brockenbrough was the turning point of Clemson softball's NCAA tournament super regional win at Texas.

The FSU vs. Clemson matchup has turned into a full-blown rivalry over the last decade, led by head coach Dabo Swinney in Death Valley. The Tigers toppled the Atlantic Coast Conference last season, going 10-4 overall, but sputtered in the playoffs after losing in the first round to Texas, 38-24.

Tigers beat Longhorns in Austin to claim the program's first ever super regional win. Clemson can advance to the Women's College World Series with a win May 23.

Clemson set many school records during the regular season and ACC Tournament. Clemson won a school record 26 regular season games and now a school record 27 wins overall. The Tigers finished a school-best 18-2 in the ACC and finished the year 9-1 on the road in the ACC – the first winning road record in league play since 1986-87.
