TAMPA — The Lightning have hired Dan Hinote to fill the vacancy on Jon Cooper’s staff that opened when former assistant Jeff Blashill left last month to become head coach of the Blackhawks.
Dan Hinote will bring all kinds of experience with him to the bench. While in Nashville, he helped build the penalty kill and will help make that even better in Loveland.
