Chloe Kelly has once more written her name in the history books. Kelly was England’s hero again at the Women’s European Championship on Sunday.

England penalty hero Chloe Kelly said Sunday she had been unable to hold back the tears after finishing a roller-coaster year in her career by scoring the spot-kick that allowed the Lionesses to beat Spain in the Women's Euro 2025 final.

Chloe Kelly, who scored the winner in Euro 2022, was the hero again as she converted the winning spot-kick after Hannah Hampton had saved from both Aitana Bonmati and Mariona Caldentey. This England team has defied logic for much of this tournament.
