To make the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo fun and accessible to all ages, two Family Wednesdays are planned during the run of "the world's largest rodeo."

The wind weather threat has now put areas like El Campo, Columbus, Brenham and parts of College Station under a fire weather watch, since those areas already dry. This round of thunderstorms isn’t expected to bring a lot of relief, so the dry weather and gusty conditions has trigged a fire weather watch from 11 am to 7 pm on Tuesday.
