A midnight crackdown by the security personnel forced the supporters of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan to evacuate the D-Chowk and its adjacent main business district of the capital ending their protest.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has called off its protest in Islamabad, citing police brutality and the killing of workers. Police claim to have arrested over 800 individuals and recovered weapons in a major crackdown.

On November 13, the PTI issued its four demands: release of Imran Khan and all the political prisoners, reversal of the 26th constitutional amendment, restoration of democracy and constitution and return of alleged stolen mandate of the party in the General Elections of 2024.
