Mafia: The Old Country, on paper, contains a lot of promise for the series. It’s a return to linear form, eschewing the biggest problem with Mafia III; it brings players to the earliest period of this series’ timeline;

The Old Country is broken up across fifteen chapters, each of which is between thirty and sixty minutes in length. After completing them, players will be able to replay chapters via the main menu, with a free roam option also available once they're done with the prologue.
