Actor Jamie Lee Curtis, one of many Hollywood celebrities who lived in the California neighborhoods ravaged by wildfires this week, said on Thursday her family would donate $1 million to relief efforts.

"It's f***ing gnarly, you guys. It’s just a catastrophe," the actress said Wednesday night, later posting on Instagram that she was in touch with California Gov. Gavin Newsom about where funds are needed.

Los Angeles is on fire, ravaged by raging wildfires, and Hollywood's celebrity class are among the affected homeowners and citizens.
