A recent announcement from President Donald Trump's administration has put Epstein's Palm Beach connections back in the public eye.

Ex-federal prosecutors say a Justice Department request to unseal grand jury transcripts in the prosecution of chronic sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein and his former girlfriend is unlikely to produce much,

Instead, the longtime Harvard professor lobbied for Epstein confidant Ghislaine Maxwell to be granted immunity in exchange for testifying in front of a congressional committee.

The two socialized together frequently in New York City and Palm Beach from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. In 2002, Trump praised Epstein to a reporter as a “terrific guy” — and curiously added that he “likes beautiful women” on “the younger side.”
