It is time to crown this year's state champions as the Louisiana high school football playoffs conclude with the LHSAA state finals this week. All eight Louisiana high school football state championships will be played December 12-14 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Haynesville’s first Louisiana state football championship came exactly 100 years ago, in 1924. The Golden Tornado have won 16 more titles since. Thursday afternoon, they go for their 18th championship in program history as Haynesville takes on South Plaquemines for the Division IV Non-Select title at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The LHSAA state championships are here with 16 teams making their way to the Caesars Superdome. Only eight Louisiana squads will leave New Orleans with the coveted state title trophy.  You can follow along right here for live scores from the LA championship games for all eight LHSAA divisions.
