The offseason madness is in full swing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. As Mike Tomlin and company prepare for the NFL Combine and gear up for a busy free agency, many fans are wondering what pending free agents will be brought back to Pittsburgh in 2025.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are projected to take a running back in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, which feels an awful lot like Najee Harris 2.0.

Jeanty, who nearly broke Barry Sanders' all-time rushing record this season, was the Heisman Trophy runner up behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter. If he falls to the Steelers at 21st overall, it could make sense to add a blue-chip talent.

Although Harris could do well on the market, the Steelers are not closing the door on re-signing him before that point. While cautioning no franchise tag is coming to keep the four-year starter off the market, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac pegs the possibility of the Steelers re-signing Harris before free agency as “strong.”

After four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, running back Najee Harris is hitting the market. This creates an opening that a generational talent could fill.
