A man is facing multiple charges Tuesday after leading Placer County Sheriff’s deputies on an early morning chase that ended in a Rocklin neighborhood.

ROCKLIN – A man is under arrest after a chase ended in a Rocklin neighborhood early Tuesday morning. The Placer County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was initially pulled over for a traffic violation. He then took off, sparking the chase. At one point during the chase, deputies say spike strips were deployed.

The chase ended in a Rocklin neighborhood early Tuesday morning. Family and friends are mourning Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson and Krysta Tsukahara, all college students who graduated from Piedmont High School in 2023.

The man was arrested in Contra Costa County after investigators said he was attempting to sell fentanyl in Placer County for the second time.
