Jon Stewart has gone full-scorched Earth on his own parent company. The Daily Show host used the opening of his Monday night show to give his hot take on the cancelation of his old friend Stephen Colbert’s Late Show.

Jon Stewart is firing back at Paramount over its decision to cancel The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In the Monday, July 21 ,episode of The Daily Show, Stewart, 62, spoke on the recent announcement that The Late Show will be ending in May 2026.
