Veronica Burton had a career-high 22 points and hit a pair of late 3s to help Golden State secure the first win in franchise history.

In front of another sellout crowd of 18,064, the Valkyries defeated the Washington Mystics 76-74, marking their first win in franchise history. Golden State shot 31.9% from the field and 18.9% from the three-point line, but kept the high-scoring Mystics in check.
