Apple is Berkshire Hathaway's largest position, but I see a different artificial intelligence (AI) stock as the better opportunity.

With the size of each individual transaction and the average price per share taken into account, Finbold estimates that the value of the billionaire’s trade was $116,055,616.

AWS is still a minority of Amazon's total overall business. But due to AI demand, this segment is commanding more attention. In 2024, AWS generated nearly $108 billion in revenue, comprising around 17% of Amazon's total sales. That's up from $91 billion in revenue in 2023, which represented just 15.8% of Amazon's revenue that year.

Both stocks trade above their five-year median, likely due to recent guidance. American Express expects 8% to 10% revenue growth and 12% to 16% adjusted EPS growth for 2025, while Visa projects "low double-digit" revenue and "low teens" adjusted EPS growth for its fiscal 2025.

In the last quarter of 2024, the only new stock added to the portfolio was Constellation Brands (NYSE: STZ ). After weaker-than-expected earnings and a reduced growth outlook, STZ stock went tumbling and is currently down 26.27% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis. At press time, Constellation Brands shares were changing hands for $162.94.
