And although not required, he reiterated that prospective students should start by taking the basic pistol course first, adding that there are many reasons for people taking the course.

A basic pistol class starts March 9 and the range also hosts an Arkansas enhanced concealed carry class. "We bring in an instructor who is certified by the state to teach our classes," Urquhart said.
