Based on a cosyntropin stimulation test (CST) and blood tests, results showed that five of the 69 total clascoterone-treated patients had abnormal CST results on day 14.

Adrenal insufficiency was defined as a cortisol level of less than 18 µg/dL 1 hour after cosyntropin stimulation testing. In the cohort, 17.2% of patients were diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency.
