When a screen is off, it's black. Why can't we invent one that's White when it's off. Obviously, there would need to be new technology, because you wouldn't want to power it with light, to be off.

Swipe down on your screen from top right and tap on the flashlight icon to turn it on or off. If the light is off, that icon is a black button with a white flashlight on it.
