Dozens of employees at the New Georgia Project, the organization founded by former Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, have reportedly been laid off with little notice.
Abrams noted she has not been involved in the voting rights group since 2017. But she said she will never stop believing in the group's mission.
