On Tuesday, the New England Patriots interviewed Chicago Bears interim coach and offensive coordinator Thomas Brown for their opening at OC under new head coach Mike Vrabel, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The New England Patriots are moving fast to fill their head-coaching vacancy, with Mike Vrabel set to interview for the job and a request in for Ben Johnson.

In the earliest stages of the Chicago Bears coaching search, open-mindedness seems to be the hallmark of the process.

The Patriots interviewed candidates such as Ben Johnson, Byron Leftwich and Pep Hamilton, but in the end, Mike Vrabel was selected.
