Ex-Staten Island resident Arthur Kaliyev made his first major contribution as a member of the New York Rangers when the right wing scored a game-tying goal during a 5-3 victory over the Utah Hockey Club Thursday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.

Before joining the New York Rangers, Arthur Kaliyev had not played in an NHL game since April of 2023. During training camp with the Los Angeles Kings before the start of this season, Kaliyev suffered a fractured clavicle, which sidelined him for multiple weeks.

Kaliyev scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-3 win over Utah. Kaliyev's goal was his first as a Ranger, and it was also his first point over four contests since the team claimed him off waivers from the Kings.
