According to results certified by Ventura County officials on Dec. 3, 178,305 county voters ― about 61% ― favored Proposition 50. About 39% of the voters — 112,439 people — opposed it. Unofficial results statewide showed 64% of voters approved the measure and 36% opposed it.
The final results of Nevada County's Nov. 4 special election are in, with a 66.32% voter turnout, according to Registrar of Voters Armando Salud-Ambriz.
San Luis Obispo County voters had a 67% turnout, which was 17% higher than the statewide average of 50% and the fourth-highest turnout among all 58 California counties, San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder Elaina Cano said in the release.
