Pixar fans have an emotional February to look forward to on Disney+. The eight-episode miniseries Win or Lose, premiering Feb. 19, tells the stories of eight connected characters as they get ready for a championship softball game.

So I have kept an eye on it since and am here to present you with three music and concert movies that have hit the service in the past few months, plus one coming soon that fans of Disney’s animated classics should enjoy.

In addition to the potential of sports to load thematic bases, “Win or Lose” features some musical experimentation with a score by Ramin Djawadi, probably best known for the much grittier fantasy of “Game of Thrones” and “House of the Dragon,” and songs by Djawadi and CAMPFIRE.

It doesn’t feel like we’re already halfway through the month of January, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true! There are still a couple of weeks left to go in the first month of 2025, but Disney+ is already looking ahead to February and getting subscribers prepared for what’s to come.

Pixar released the Inside Out spinoff series Dream Productions on Disney+ last year and Monsters at Work in 2021. Win or Lose is their first original series.
